Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical environments, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, providing essential support and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain various types of medical equipment, including surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Transport patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
