Role Summary:

The Clinic Operations Supervisor, under the guidance of clinic physicians and the Regional Clinic Manager, is responsible for leading daily operations and ensuring optimal management of clinic functions. This role emphasizes high standards of patient service, operational efficiency, and satisfaction among physicians, providers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance clinic and team productivity, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Oversee clinic operations, including budget management and staffing
  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees
  • Support staff performance management and provide regular updates to the Regional Clinic Manager
  • Ensure prompt handling of phone messages, faxes, and interdepartmental communications
  • Manage prior authorizations and maintain tracking systems from initiation to completion
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and training programs
  • Act as a role model and subject matter expert for established policies and procedures
  • Perform Clinical Assistant and Receptionist duties as necessary

Qualifications:

Education:

A minimum of post-secondary education in a medical support field such as Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse is required. Current certification/licensure must be maintained throughout employment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Preferred two years of experience in Dermatology or Mohs surgery
  • Current CPR Certification is required
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and visitors
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
