About the RoleAs a Hospice Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant with Gentiva Health Services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their loved ones. Your role will involve providing essential care and support to patients in their homes, ensuring they maintain their dignity and comfort throughout their journey.

Responsibilities- Provide basic care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assist patients with ambulation and safe use of walkers or wheelchairs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
- Document patient care and progress accurately and timely
- Participate in quality improvement activities and attend staff meetings
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
