Role Responsibilities:

As the Nurse Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Nursing and oversee the nursing and medical assistant staff. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring quality patient outcomes and fostering a collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing staffing levels and ensuring effective scheduling for nursing and medical assistant teams.
  • Facilitating training and orientation for new staff members.
  • Coordinating necessary clinical training and compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborating with leadership to address conflicts and improve patient experiences.
  • Monitoring patient feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
  • Leading regular staff meetings to promote communication and teamwork.
  • Ensuring the availability of clinical supplies and maintaining documentation.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and supporting staff development.
  • Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's degree preferred.
  • Current RN license from the Massachusetts State Board of Registration.
  • BLS certification required.
  • A minimum of four years of professional nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and make independent decisions.
  • Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
