Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager to join our team at ECS Group of Companies. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and overseeing various environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental compliance studies and assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Lead environmental site assessments, groundwater and soil investigations, and media sampling to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design, install, operate, and maintain remediation systems to mitigate environmental hazards.
  • Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee underground storage tank assessments and laboratory tests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare daily field reports and project meeting minutes to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop proposals and schedules for environmental projects, and oversee the training and oversight of environmental technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field from an ABET-accredited college or university.
  • 0-2 years of experience in environmental services or a related field.
  • EIT or GIT certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required for driving on behalf of ECS.
