Role Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Non-Invasive Cardiac Lab team. Our facility is renowned for its advanced medical treatments and state-of-the-art technology, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Essential Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • At least one year of recent critical care experience
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact RN license with NJ endorsement

Scheduling Details:

  • Per Diem availability
  • Weekdays: 8 AM - 2 PM; Weekends: 8 AM - 1 PM
  • Minimum of one shift per week and one weekend shift per month
  • Availability for one summer holiday and one winter holiday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and established regulatory standards, while adhering to ethical practice guidelines.
  • Conduct stress test procedures and ensure patient safety during all practices.
  • Maintain awareness of personal knowledge and skills, seeking opportunities for professional development.
  • Report any safety concerns or medical errors promptly.
  • Understand the patient demographics and needs of the population served.
  • Supervise and guide team members in task delegation and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
  • Set and evaluate care priorities to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Utilize the nursing process to create individualized care plans for patients.
