Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
RWJBarnabas Health is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. Our facility boasts a modernized campus with advanced medical technology, including a dedicated Intensive Care Unit and expanded Emergency Services.
Key Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Competent in computer applications
- At least one year of recent experience in critical care or catheterization lab settings
- Strong critical thinking and assessment capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required Certifications and Licenses:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or a compact RN license with New Jersey endorsement
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time Days
- Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call duties are required
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct stress test procedures
- Oversee and guide the delegation of tasks to team members
- Apply the nursing process to ensure comprehensive patient care
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procedure room and/or document in the control room
- Manage patient admissions and discharges in the holding area
