About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at WellLife Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.
  • Implement behavior management techniques when necessary to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience in senior care, patient care, or mental health is preferred.
  • Knowledge of direct support practices and principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals under your care.
  • Capability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
