Position Overview:
The Logistics Quality Control Technician plays a vital role in supporting supervisors and operators in various operational functions, including quality assurance, label inspection, product separation, packaging, and shipping. This position is essential for meeting customer delivery deadlines while upholding rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting accurate inspections, separations, and packaging of all label and print products.
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality control standards.
  • Utilizing the ERP system (TCM) to accurately log time and materials, adhering to departmental guidelines.
  • Completing all shipments and ensuring packages are directed to the correct recipients as per daily job schedules or supervisor instructions.
  • Reporting any issues or quality concerns related to printing, laminating, or shipping to the appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinating with courier companies and drivers regarding shipping delays, special deliveries, and other factors affecting customer deliveries.
  • Following additional instructions from supervisors or management to complete tasks or projects effectively and within set timelines.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or one year of relevant job experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:
1. Frequent standing throughout the shift.
2. Regular use of hands and fingers for handling and feeling.
3. Reaching with hands and arms as needed.
4. Lifting weights between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.
5. Ability to see clearly at distances of 20 feet or more.
6. Capability to distinguish and identify colors.
