Job Summary

As an Elevator Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our elevator systems, including mixing feed, loading/unloading commodities, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed Mixing Operations: Operate feed mixing machinery, including conveyors, blowers, and mixers, to produce high-quality feed products.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Lubricate, adjust, and perform minor repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and production.
  • Commodity Handling: Load and unload commodities, including sacks, boxes, and guides, onto customer and company-owned trucks.
  • Quality Control: Monitor equipment operation to detect malfunctions and take corrective action to maintain production standards.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct daily inspections of equipment and complete vehicle condition reports, reporting any defects or safety issues to maintenance supervisors or other company officials.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or Equivalent
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably with experience mixing feed products.
  • Skills: Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, adapt to changes in the work environment, and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
Work Environment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and extreme temperatures.
  • Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise levels.
Compensation

$21-$21 Hourly Wage
