Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Zeeland Hospital Surgical Services. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the preparation, delivery, and clean-up of patient care during the intra-operative phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and organization of necessary equipment, sterile supplies, and instruments for each surgical case.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the unit by assembling surgical supplies for rooms and case tables.
- Clean equipment, work areas, and reusable supplies, and return unneeded equipment to the appropriate department.
- Follow up on equipment needing repairs.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- An Associate's degree or equivalent completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program.
- 1 year of relevant experience, with 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
- BLS from AHA or ARC required within 90 days.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position with a 38-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with variable shifts. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
