Job Overview

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $58,770 to $100,990 per year, based on the location and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment.
  • Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA).
