Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled RN/LPN to join our team as a Clinical Assessment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals receiving MassHealth Personal Care Attendant Services.

You will work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Functional Skills Trainers, and the PCA Program Director to ensure consistency and compliance of all evaluations.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Assessment Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Assessing PCA Consumers' functional limitations and identifying disabling diagnoses and other medical conditions.
  • Completing MassHealth Applications and Evaluations for PCA Services in compliance with MassHealth regulations.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current Massachusetts RN/LPN License.
  • At least one (1) year of clinical and/or nursing experience in a community or long-term care setting.
  • Excellent assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Computer proficiency to process consumer records in electronic databases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

As a Clinical Assessment Specialist, you can expect a competitive salary range of $32-$34 per hour, plus a 6% pay differential for bilingual skills. Enjoy a $5,000 sign-on bonus payable in two equal installments after 3 and 6 months of employment.
