Your role is crucial to our success. Each position impacts our patients' lives, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed Certified Respiratory Care Specialist PRN to join our dedicated team.
Job Responsibilities and QualificationsROLE SUMMARY: Assess the respiratory requirements of patients and formulate a Respiratory Care Plan in accordance with Clinical Practice Guidelines. A positive attitude is essential.
- Completion of an accredited respiratory care program (Associate's Degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience in clinical respiratory therapy is preferred.
- Current Florida state license and CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certification from the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; or BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required. New hires or transfers to a higher skill level must obtain this within six months, working under the supervision of an ACLS-certified therapist until certification is achieved.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is required. New hires or transfers to a higher skill level must obtain this within six months, working under the supervision of a PALS-certified therapist until certification is achieved.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is required. New hires or transfers to a higher skill level must obtain this within six months, working under the supervision of an NRP-certified therapist until certification is achieved.
