About the Role
At HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in preparing, calibrating, and administering radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing various nuclear medicine procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope-sensitive equipment to obtain visual representations or measurements of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs.
- Provide care and service to a critically ill through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
- Support the Nuclear Medicine Physician in preparing, calibrating, and administering radioactive isotopes to patients.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Florida State License Nuclear Medicine required.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N).
