We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Peri-operative team at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital. As a CVOR Nurse PRN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Operating Room.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure a smooth surgical experience.
- Assess and monitor patients' medical status, providing general nursing care and addressing urgent and emergent surgical situations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Review charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN Open Heart Surgical Services experience.
- 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred.
- BSN is preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required.
- CNOR preferred.
