About this Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our agile team in Richmond, VA (Hybrid). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality software is delivered to production while learning quickly from our spirit of experimentation. Estimated salary: $125,000/year.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in the software development life cycle, ensuring only properly tested software is released to production. Key responsibilities include participating in Agile ceremonies, planning and executing tests, helping lead test automation efforts, and reviewing automated test runs.

  • Absolutes:
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/engineering
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, including system design, object-oriented design, databases, and programming concepts
  • Strong background in test automation with front-end and back-end automation tools
  • Experience with Chrome Dev Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure PAAS
  • Experience with API-level automated tests
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • NodeJS and Playwright test automation framework experience
