About the Position

This HR Generalist role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Hiring:
    • Source, interview, and onboard candidates for both office and field positions.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Benefits and Compensation:
    • Administer company benefit programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives.
    • Educate employees on benefit offerings and facilitate open enrollment sessions.
  • Payroll and Time Tracking:
    • Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate payroll processing.
    • Manage time tracking and address payroll discrepancies.
  • Employee Relations and Safety:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts to maintain a healthy work environment.
    • Collaborate with safety officers to ensure workplace safety standards are met.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or general contracting industry.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
