Clinical Nurse Educator Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Educator is a key member of our team, responsible for developing and deploying standardized education and training based on nursing process and practice.

This role requires a strong background in nursing, with a focus on education and training. The successful candidate will have excellent assessment, education, and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy standardized education and training programs for nursing staff
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of education and training programs
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to identify education and training needs
  • Develop and implement education and training plans to meet identified needs
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on a variety of topics, including clinical skills and patient care
Requirements
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; MSN strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN required
  • Current RN license in appropriate state required
  • Certified in AHA BLS Healthcare Provider, AHA ALS
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Providers/AHA ACLS certified instructor preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Critical care background helpful, but not required
Work Environment

This role requires frequent sitting and standing, occasional walking, and bending/stooping. Frequent repetitive arm, hand, and finger movements. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
