Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their health needs, administering medications, and supporting healthcare providers with various clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct basic medical exams, measure vital signs, and record medical history to ensure accurate patient care.
  • Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting interactions and treatments, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Assist nurse practitioners and physicians with clinical tasks and procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Educate patients on health management, medication instructions, and preventive care practices, promoting healthy behaviors and outcomes.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as wound care, specimen collection, and diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care, communicating effectively and efficiently.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Position Highlights:
  • Up to 38 hours per week, with a typical workweek including 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend.
  • Competitive hourly rate of $32 per hour.
  • Must hold an active LPN license in the State of VA and have a minimum of 1-year experience in a hospital, medical office/clinic, or urgent care setting.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and experience using electronic medical records (EMR) are required.
  • BLS Certification is also required.
