Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team at Great Lakes Hospitality Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive the highest levels of service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service quality.
  2. Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  3. Collaborate with front office staff to resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with company standards.
  5. Prepare and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies, equipment, and staffing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Assistant Housekeeper, with 2 years housekeeping experience in a commercial environment in a supervisory capacity; OR equivalent level of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
