About the Role

SC Johnson & Son, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of household and professional products. We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager, Federal and Domestic to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the completion of federal and state income tax returns and other tax matters.
  • Gather information for tax return preparation, audit support, and analysis.
  • Assist domestic tax staff on special projects and research, as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with a minimum of 3 years of federal/state income tax experience at a public accounting firm or large corporation managing complex compliance requirements.
  • 1-3 years of Microsoft Office and tax technology systems.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Experiences and Skills
  • An advanced degree and/or certification as a Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities with quality and on time.
  • Corptax experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to foster relationships and work in and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong organizational skills for multi-tasking.
Job Requirements
  • Full-time. Overtime is expected at certain times, including but not limited to year-end close, tax return filing season, and when working on time-sensitive projects.
  • Minimal domestic travel, occasionally overnight, primarily to attend seminars, users' groups, or meet with subsidiary personnel.
  • Professional office environment.
  • This role is not eligible for relocation.
