Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of credit risk parameters, ensuring compliance with established risk appetite and limits.
  • Support the credit approval process, maintaining accountability for portfolio performance and asset quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses and develop credit risk reports for specific products, monitoring key indicators of credit quality.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and perform due diligence to confirm risks align with the bank's defined risk appetite.
  • Monitor industry risk governance and identify potential operational, reputational, and market risks.
  • Proactively identify risks that may affect the assigned portfolio and collaborate with business partners to address issues.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, conducting financial analyses and tracking performance metrics.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of clients and industry sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with Risk and Global Banking and Markets teams, particularly in Corporate Banking and Relationship Management.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative due diligence on industry and company factors.
  • Research and present financial and industry analyses to support decision-making at both company-specific and portfolio levels.
  • Evaluate transaction risks and profitability to optimize capital allocation.
  • Continuously monitor clients' financial performance and emerging industry trends.
  • Participate in structuring and documenting credit facilities that meet client and investor needs while balancing internal risk requirements.
  • Manage credit exposure across a wide range of products, including loans and derivatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial or corporate banking risk analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of corporate finance.
  • Excellent business writing skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Foundational knowledge of legal credit agreements.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Familiarity with ancillary banking products.
  • Experience in Technology, Media, Telecom & Gaming sectors is a plus.
