Job Description

We are seeking a Correctional Psychiatrist to join our team at MindCare Solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a correctional setting, providing mental health services to inmates/residents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with diverse populations. A valid driver's license and active NM DEA certification are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
  • Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes.

Compensation: Up to $375,000 annually (based on experience) *$10,000 sign on bonus for in-person* Schedule: 40 hours per week; flexible hours available. Occasional travel required which will be reimbursed in accordance with company policies.
