Job Description

The Clinical Therapist works closely with program managers, coordinators, and staff under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Director. Key responsibilities include psychosocial assessment, consultation, care coordination, crisis intervention services, treatment plan development/monitoring, and individual, group, and/or family therapy for assigned clients. Services may be provided in office, home-based, or community-based settings.

Requirements
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate from an accredited college or university in Social Work; Guidance and Counseling; Psychology; or a related health field, with relevant graduate studies.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with SED children and families or SMI/SUD/COD adults in Behavioral Health.
  • New Mexico licensure in one or more areas: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, LMSW, LMHC, LPAT.
  • Thorough knowledge of community resources.
  • The ability to establish positive relationships, communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and community members.
  • Proficiency in computer systems for maintaining compliance with BHSD Standards and requirements.
  • A valid New Mexico Driver's License, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural skills (English/Spanish) are highly valued.
Compensation
