Intake LPN

We are seeking a skilled Intake LPN to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. As a Float LPN, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff across various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Float between NYCBS locations as needed to provide seamless patient care.
- Update and maintain electronic patient records, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Record patient information, including vital signs, weight, and medical history.
- Clean and prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.
- Assist in the front office with tasks such as answering phone calls and greeting patients.
- Maintain medical inventory and place orders for new materials as needed.
- Measure and record vital signs, and provide patient education on medications and disease management.
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests.
- Assist physicians with exams and perform phlebotomy and lab specimen collection.
- Administer and document medication under a physician's order.
- Current NYS LPN license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a lead role or demonstrated potential to act in a lead capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in OncoEMR.
- Ability to travel to any NYCBS location.
