About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on products, features, and promotions, making recommendations to customers and driving sales growth
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and expectations
  • Assist with inventory control, receiving, and stocking merchandise, as well as loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store appearance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
