This role will be part of the Global Data and Analytics organization, responsible for generating metrics and insights to reduce health costs, improve clinical outcomes, and measure business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and/or SAS to identify trends and patterns in health insurance claims.
- Develop programmatic foundations driving Clinical Program Evaluation Tools, utilizing data science and advanced analytics techniques.
- Partner with other Data Science teams to support Common Currency initiatives, methodology, governance, coordination of work, and roadmaps across Data Science Verticals.
- Evaluate Clinical Program Evaluation Tools, staying up-to-date on the latest data science tools and techniques.
- Communicate findings to business stakeholders and senior leadership through presentations and reports.
- 5+ years' experience analyzing health insurance claims (Medical, Lab, Eligibility, etc.).
- Strong technical skills extracting and analyzing large amounts of data across various platforms.
- Ability to translate analyses into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Prior experience automating solutions.
- Strong verbal/written communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Economics, Epidemiology, Actuarial Science, or Data Science highly preferred.
