Position Overview:

The Senior Infrastructure Solutions Engineer is tasked with overseeing and innovating infrastructure technologies, encompassing virtualization, hardware management, storage solutions, and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technology mentor and guide for junior team members.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure management in Azure and AWS environments.
  • Design and implement processes for effective permissions and access management across cloud platforms.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to facilitate environment scalability in collaboration with development teams.
  • Administer Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Manage backup operations and provide strategic recommendations for DELL backup systems.
  • Deliver Tier 3 support as required.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and system patching, including communication planning.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) for various teams, focusing on IaC deployment and backup operations.
  • Assist in the development of infrastructure roadmaps.
  • Support technical proposals aimed at enhancing capacity and implementing new solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture and implementation strategies for infrastructure technologies.
  • Facilitate cross-training on new QRGs and SOPs within IT departments as necessary.
  • Document the overall architecture of infrastructure systems, including cloud technologies.
  • Support capacity planning and configuration management efforts.
  • Engage in vendor evaluations and solution assessments as assigned.
  • Review and establish best practices in alignment with TMNAS architectural standards and engineering methodologies.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard corporate data and systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience is required.
  • Essential Experience:
  • 1. Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, and ARM templates.
  • 2. Expertise in backup technologies and data recovery methodologies, including cloud-based solutions.
  • 3. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure infrastructure concepts, including landing zones.
  • 4. Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • 5. Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Desirable Experience:
  • 1. Experience with monitoring technologies.
  • 2. Skills in automation scripting and management.
  • 3. Knowledge of deployment and system maintenance methodologies.
  • 4. Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Relevant certifications are preferred, including ITIL Intermediate v3 - Service Transition, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Server+, EMC Storage Implementation Engineer (EMCIE), and Cisco Certified Network Professional - Data Center (CCNP - Data Center).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $89,000 to $120,000, with the final offer based on experience and location. Our organization provides a competitive benefits package along with bonus eligibility.
