As a seasoned developer with expertise in React, you will guide a team of developers while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and contribute to the analysis, design, and technical execution of modern web portals and associated components utilizing React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Develop web applications aligned with technical specifications and business requirements.
- Innovate new user interface features and functionalities employing advanced technologies.
- Create front-end libraries and reusable components for enhanced efficiency in future projects.
- Convert functional specifications into technical requirements.
- Engage in architectural design discussions for functional enhancements with the Enterprise Architecture team.
- Guarantee the accuracy of implementations through unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote continuous improvement within the team.
- Communicate technical insights to business analysts, subject matter experts, and end-users.
- Manage ongoing production support for implemented projects, addressing production support tickets and providing solutions.
- Uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Plan and prepare release packages for various web applications, collaborating with the release management team.
- Build strong partnerships with Business Units.
- Execute special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Developer certifications are a plus.
Experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in front-end web development using React and similar technologies.
- Extensive experience (7 years) in developing C# and ASP.NET web applications for cross-browser compatibility.
- Professional experience in back-end development with SQL Server 2016 and later.
- Proficient in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for builds and code merging.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, database design, and optimization techniques.
- Experience in developing and deploying applications on Azure-hosted solutions is advantageous.
- Proficiency with version control systems like GIT is beneficial.
- Knowledge of contemporary Content Management Systems is a bonus.
- Experience in the property and casualty insurance sector is advantageous.
