Position Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Vulnerability Specialist within the Global Fusion Center US, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and addressing the ever-evolving cyber threats through comprehensive testing and vulnerability management strategies. Your contributions will be essential in the establishment, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of our global vulnerability management framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and document vulnerabilities across cloud environments, workstations, data center infrastructure, network devices, and applications.
  • Support the vulnerability management initiative to guarantee thoroughness and precision of various scanning and reporting tools utilized throughout the infrastructure and applications.
  • Contribute to the refinement of processes by automating routine tasks, integrating vulnerability management solutions, and implementing industry best practices.
  • Assist in prioritizing remediation and mitigation efforts based on risk assessments, including CVSS scores, exposure levels, and asset significance.
  • Conduct scheduled and on-demand vulnerability assessments across the enterprise, encompassing network, agent-based, and authenticated scans.
  • Help develop vulnerability reports and metrics for stakeholders.
  • Participate in the formulation of vulnerability management protocols.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to necessary internal controls to effectively perform job functions and fulfill responsibilities.
  • Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships with other teams, Group Companies, and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related operational security role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+ or CySA+ are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and engineering vulnerability tools, along with defining associated policies and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of common infrastructure and web application vulnerability classifications, including CVE, CVSS, and CWE.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Comprehension of networks, operating systems, and architecture and their impact on an organization's security posture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and teamwork skills.
Compensation:

Salary range is between $120,000 and $140,000, with the final offer contingent upon the candidate's experience and geographic location. Our organization provides a competitive benefits package along with bonus eligibility in addition to the base salary.
