Position Overview
The Production Engineering Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and assessment of machinery, tools, and testing systems aimed at enhancing the manufacturing process and ensuring quality control for both industrial and consumer products.

This role involves supervising the setup, functionality, upkeep, and repair of such machinery.

The individual will evaluate products and production methodologies while implementing lean manufacturing strategies to foster ongoing enhancements and minimize waste.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineering personnel to design or procure essential manufacturing, tooling, testing, or inspection apparatus for optimal production efficiency of industrial and consumer goods.

Utilize lean manufacturing principles to enhance production effectiveness and decrease waste.

Identify, propose, and execute approved upgrades to equipment.

Offer technical support and guidance in the maintenance of production machinery and equipment.

Assist in training production staff on the operation and maintenance of machinery, testing equipment, and other inspection tools.

Support fellow engineers in process optimization, layout modifications, new product launches, and quality enhancement initiatives.

Contribute to the maintenance of ISO quality standards across the facility.

Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is required.

Experience:
0-3 years of relevant experience. Additional specific skills and experience may be necessary for certain roles.
