Position Overview:
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping, and electrical systems at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machine failures and operational issues.
- Dismantle defective machinery and equipment, replacing or repairing parts as necessary.
- Install and maintain electrical equipment, including transformers and wiring.
- Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems along with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Repair and uphold the physical infrastructure of the plant.
- Operate machine tools (lathes, grinders, mills, drill presses, etc.) for repairs and fabrication.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance.
- Manage equipment troubleshooting and repairs, including hydraulic pumps and electrical systems.
- Execute Continuous Improvement project work orders.
- Track and report work progress using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with reliability teams to procure and manage parts and tools.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with five years of experience in maintaining electrical, technical, and mechanical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree with two years of experience in maintaining electrical, technical, and mechanical equipment.
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform activities such as walking, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and bending.
- Significant time spent on the production floor and on feet.
- Frequent use of hands, sometimes in confined spaces.
- Occasional lifting of items typically under 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment and possess color vision.
