Medical Team Coordinator

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in coordinating the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing patient care, and evaluating patient outcomes.

About the Role:
- Assume shift responsibilities for the care delivery team, ensuring seamless coordination and communication among staff members.
- Coordinate the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing patient care, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues, promoting high-quality patient care and improving length of stay (LOS).
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan
- 1-2 years of progressively more responsible experience with evidence of increasing leadership abilities
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate to others, and facilitate processes
Salary: Estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, employee assistance programs, life insurance, and a discount program.
