Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to ensure the property is secure
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents, contact emergency services as needed, and administer first aid/CPR if required
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and notify relevant personnel as needed
  • Complete incident reports to document all security-related incidents
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Escort unwelcome individuals from the property and report incidents to management
  • Call for outside assistance if necessary and complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
