Market of Choice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security and loss prevention services to our stores in the Beaverton area, as well as participating in training and special projects across other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveillance and investigations to prevent and detect criminal activity
  • Apprehend and process shoplifters, and assist in ORC investigations
  • Document incidents and build strong cases for prosecution
  • Conduct safety, shrink, and physical security audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide expert advice and support to store teams on security and loss prevention matters

Requirements:

  • Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Interest in a career in retail loss prevention
  • Professional, courteous, and calm attitude
  • Excellent observation and planning skills
  • Ability to think clearly under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of local and state laws

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DPSST certification
  • Proficiency in MS Office, digital cameras, and CCTV operations
