Job Description

Rolls-Royce is seeking a highly skilled Senior Control System Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control systems for our flagship programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop control system requirements and design work products for safety-critical applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers to ensure technical outcomes are delivered to appropriate standards and quality.
  • Develop and communicate complex technical ideas and information in a concise and logical way.
  • Work with a global engineering community to identify areas for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of product development engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or PhD in a related field.
  • Experience with requirements management, agile development methods, and control system design and analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, robust design tools, and techniques coupled with the latest model-centric development approaches.
