We are seeking a skilled and experienced auto body craftsman to join our team at Mark Porter Auto Group in Ashland, Kentucky.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bodywork, painting, and detailing techniques, with the ability to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Key Responsibilities
Restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition through precise body repair techniques
Perform bodywork, dent repair, and paint touch-ups using industry-standard tools and equipment
Ensure all repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety
Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining attention to detail
Communicate with customers to explain repairs and address any concerns
Work closely with the team to achieve overall department goals and objectives
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Previous experience as an auto body technician or similar role is preferred
Technical skills: proficiency in bodywork, painting, and detailing techniques
Certifications: relevant certifications or training in auto body repair are a plus
Attention to detail: ability to work meticulously and ensure high-quality results
Physical stamina: capable of performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
Team player: collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
Tools knowledge: familiarity with tools and equipment used in auto body repair
