Job Summary

This Clinical Associate role performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Responsibilities include assisting with patient bathing, feeding, and preparation for treatment, taking and recording vital signs, changing bed linen, preparing treatment trays and other supplies, and assisting nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties that they have verified competencies in.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Completion of a CNA or Medical Assistant training program
  3. Communication and customer service skills; computer skills
  4. CNA or Medical Assistant licensure; CPR certification

Job Description Details
  • Assures admission paperwork is available and actively participates in the admission process.
  • Actively participates in administering patient care and ensures a safe and comforting environment.
  • Responds to patients' needs in a timely manner.
  • Assists patients with ADLs including meals, bathing, and hygiene needs.
  • Performs/assists with range of motion exercises and ambulation.
  • Performs cardiac rehab exercises with patients per protocol.
  • Reports abnormal conditions to the RN in a timely manner.
  • Maintains personal responsibility for professional growth and development.
  • Apart from other responsibilities:

Our team member will also be required to perform Point of Care procedures, observe intravenous lines, establish patient setup/connection tasks, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
