About the Role:

  • We are seeking a licensed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is energetic, flexible, and has a positive attitude to provide patient care services, determine medical conditions, and prepare patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team to ensure seamless patient care and adhere to high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care Services:
    • Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs, and provide treatment as applicable
    • Assist in determining medical problems, initiate and maintain intravenous lines, administer fluids and medications as directed through provider orders
    • Collaborate with providers and other medical staff when examining or treating patients, giving injections, removing sutures, and applying splints and dressings
  • Clinical Support:
    • Authorize medication refills as per providers' direction and provide prescription information to pharmacies
    • Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound management under providers' orders
    • Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens through routine in-house testing procedures, and analyze and prepare for testing, log results, and perform lab call-backs
  • Documentation and Scheduling:
    • Document basic patient care and procedures, utilizing appropriate forms and electronic medical records
    • Schedule patients for tests and follow-up appointments
  • Patient Education:
    • Instruct patients and family regarding treatment and medication instructions

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Certificate/License: Current LPN license and current BLS certification are required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one to three years of relevant experience is preferred.
