Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team at Gopherfish Mgmt LLC in Kansas City or Wichita, Kansas. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through national and regional distribution channels and our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional accounts to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Assist in developing and managing sales forecasts to ensure accurate planning.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to specific audiences.
  • Communicate with the Supply Chain team to maintain sufficient inventory levels.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and account events as needed.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales activities, results, and market insights.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of distribution sales experience, familiarity with agricultural or outdoor products helpful.
  • Excellent sales track record and an established network of distribution partners.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven experience in the outdoor power equipment industry is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Effective presentation, closing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient at territory management and prospecting.
  • B2B cold calling experience is required.

  • Total Compensation package in excess of $200,000 with a base salary of $50,000.
