Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers and internal departments regarding water utilities.
  • Answer phone calls and provide counter assistance, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer transactions, including taking payments, setting up new accounts, and scheduling service terminations.
  • Enter information into electronic systems, post transactions, and verify monies received.
  • Work in a call center environment, adhering to strict schedule requirements while allowing flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, and actions taken.
  • Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing.
Requirements:
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong track record of providing excellent service.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A basic understanding of operational, technical, or office processes related to water utilities.
