Solar Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solar Sales Manager to lead our dynamic team of Inside Sales Consultants. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our sales organization through strategic leadership, effective coaching, and process management. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Solar Sales Manager will collaborate closely with senior management to achieve company goals and uphold high standards of performance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing phone sales team. Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching to drive results.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales tactics and approaches.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance using KPIs and other metrics. Implement performance improvement plans and conduct regular reviews.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline sales processes and improve efficiency within the team. Leverage CRM systems and sales tools to enhance productivity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, team metrics, and market insights. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
