">About the Position
">We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced adjunct instructor to teach a range of courses within the Studio Art discipline. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in fine arts, art, or art history, or a Bachelor's degree in any of these fields with a Master's degree in humanities. Alternatively, candidates with equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
">The successful candidate will possess excellent teaching skills, cultural responsiveness, and the ability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in online learning platforms, such as Canvas or Blackboard, is highly desirable.
">What We Offer
">In addition to a competitive salary, which starts at $85.09 per standard hour plus an office hour differential of $19.91 per hour for classroom assignments, we offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and access to state-of-the-art facilities.
">Eligibility Requirements
">Pursuant to LACCD Board of Trustees' Policy 2900, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Newly hired employees will be required to provide their vaccination status prior to starting their position.
">Duties and Responsibilities
">The adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching a range of courses within the Studio Art discipline, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning. They will also collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and work professionally with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
