Reliability Manager - MRO Operations

At Michael Foods, we are committed to providing accessible and delicious food for families. As a key member of our team, the Reliability Manager - MRO Operations will play a crucial role in driving improved business results across all manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading and supervising high-performance MRO teams, with a strong background in maintenance management principles and best practices. They will be responsible for standardizing and improving processes, ensuring the right quantity of the right parts are in the right location at the right time, at the lowest overall cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive standardization, improvements, and maturity across all plants in organization and management, training and skills, information systems, data integrity, performance management, storage and facilities, storeroom operations, inventory strategies, user coordination, and procurement coordination.
  • Assist plants with development of short- and long-term improvement plans.
  • Maximize plant asset availability, efficiency, and predictability through implementation of best practices.
  • Create and deliver training across the enterprise.
  • Own standard and process for parts master data.
  • Participate in the turnover of projects from Engineering to Maintenance to ensure adherence to the MRO processes.
  • Provide training and technical support in utilization of Hexagon EAM to optimize the MRO work processes.
  • Project Manage reliability transformation and reliability improvement plans for assigned site.
  • Stay abreast of new developments within the MRO materials management field and determine if incorporating these can improve PCB business results.
  • Identify opportunities for improved procurement processes (enterprise parts standardization, vendor standardization, etc.).
  • Coordinate roundtable meetings and networking calls.
  • Support cultural improvement in safety, inclusion, and engagement by serving as a role model for Vision/Values/Behaviors.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree (or the equivalent work experience) in Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Two-year degree in industrial maintenance.
  • SMRP (Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals), technical training, and other similar certifications are desirable.
  • Extensive (15+ years) plant experience leading and supervising high-performance MRO teams.
  • Maintenance MRO buying, MRO supervision and management experience is desirable.
