Job Description

As a Co-Clinic Director at Ellie Mental Health - DALLAS, you will play a key role in shaping the future of mental health care. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate leader to join our team and help us achieve our mission of improving access to quality mental health services.

Responsibilities
  • Hiring, Training, and Staff Management
    • Oversee the hiring process for all therapists at your clinic cohort.
    • Provide comprehensive training for new hires, ensuring they understand Ellie Mental Health's clinical and operational policies and procedures.
    • Assess ongoing development needs and conduct training as required.
    • Hold staff accountable for meeting performance expectations.
    • Manage staff performance, including implementing Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, and termination processes as needed.
  • Supervision and Consultation
    • Oversee peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence and adherence to best practices.
    • Provide clinical oversight to mental health practitioners and professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers.
    • Participate in Clinic Director Peer Consult Group.
    • Provide one-on-one consultation with therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation.
  • Client Care
    • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation according to company policy.
    • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
    • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
    • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Clinic Oversight
    • Collaborate with the franchise owner, Regional Operations Director, Co-Director, and Ellie Mental Health corporate staff to implement strategies for fiscal and clinical efficiency.
    • Co-monitor and co-manage clinic office schedules and office supplies.
    • Provide timely responses to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.
    • Serve as Co-point of contact for building management-related issues or concerns.
  • Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking
    • Co-lead clinics' community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with the franchise owner and consistent with guidance from Ellie Outreach Team.
    • Collaborate with Ellie Marketing Team to promote clinics' online visibility.
  • Organizational Leadership
    • Collaborate with the franchise owner, Regional Operations Director, Co-Director, and Ellie Corporate Team to implement all required policies and procedures.
    • Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness, and implement changes in collaboration with the franchise owner.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree or higher education in a mental health discipline.
  • Independently licensed with a Texas-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMFT, LPC-S).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets.
  • Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Ability to work closely with other leaders, including the Co-Director.
