Job Description

Director of Operations

Nesco Resource is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that we maintain the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Operations: Oversee the manufacturing process, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production staff, engineers, and management, as well as external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving process improvements.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with experience in cost analysis and project management.
