Job Summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Acquisition Analyst to support the Joint Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division. The successful candidate will provide expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Acquisition and Technology Analysis Group in the application of multi-disciplinary analytic skills to support multiple clients within the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Provide critical decision support to enabling and executing a strategy of technological superiority and enabling the delivery and sustainment of secure, resilient, and preeminent capabilities to the warfighter quickly and cost effectively.
  • Support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management (DASD(SSIPM)) in the Strategic Deterrence and Capabilities (SDC) Directorate.
  • Develop decision-ready material for senior leaders and apply the initiative to navigate headquarters and acquisition processes to support the DASD portfolio management responsibilities.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience with the Defense Acquisition System.
  • 5 years of experience with nuclear weapons and weapon systems at the operational or programmatic level.
  • Understanding of DoDI and the DoD acquisition process.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Willingness for occasional travel (may be required (less than 10%)).
