Nuclear Weapon Effects Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Weapon Effects SME to join our team at SimIS Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear engineering and physics, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing T&E capability investment proposals, reviewing and critiquing test-related requirements documents, and applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop T&E capability investment proposals, to include investment in research and development of new test capabilities
* Review and critique test-related requirements documents, such as T&E Master Plans, Test Capabilities Requirements Documents, and Analysis of Alternatives
* Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals
* Interact with senior DoD leadership and strategic partners regarding use nuclear modernization
Requirements:
* DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
* Masters of Science degree in physics, nuclear engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university
* At least 8 years of experience in nuclear engineering and physics
* Familiarity with PBP&E, acquisition community practices, and key nuclear modernization stakeholders
* Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
