Responsibilities:
  • Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Assist in writing Statement of Work.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the Air Force Base.
  • Create 10 year plan for mechanical functions of the Air Force Base in anticipation of preventative maintenance.
  • Perform site visits as needed to assess mechanical systems.
  • Work on small projects doing light design.
  • Production of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design and other design software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • EIT Certification.
  • Previous experience working on DOD projects.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported.
  • Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported.
  • Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
